What To Do And What You Need In A Nuclear Emergency

How Much KIO3 Do You Really Need?

KIO3 has been recognized as "The Drug of Choice" by Britain, Scotland, Ireland, Poland and now by many state officials in the US.

Delaware, one of the states that chooses KIO3 as the drug of choice, has included the instructions for it in their disaster manuals.

Here is a sample from the State of Delaware website.

Many of the people in Poland took KIO3 to survive Chernobyl

A quick explanation -  Radioactive Iodine is active and dangerous during the release and about 10 to 15 days AFTER the release stops. It travels around in particle form and gas form. You cannot see it or taste it.

So, let's use our unfortunate experiment (Chernobyl) as an example. The release (of radioactive fallout and gasses) lasted 10 days. The active danger of radioactive Iodine lasted about 15 days after the release was stopped.

So, in order to protect the thyroid, with some margin, you would have needed at least 25 to 30 days for each person.  The minimum is 15 days per event or accident. The optimum or best is One Month per person for each accident.

KIO3 Travel-Packs

There are other things you should consider. If you or your family travel through high-risk areas, you should carry some KIO3 or KI with you. In your vehicle.

Why open your bottle you leave at home? This will only reduce the life of the product. Why carry a whole bottle around with you? Instead, our Travel-Packs are made for just that - enough supply for travel or even at home.

These packs have a 15-day supply in each of them.

Do you have a first aid kit for your car? That is where it should go, or at the very least in your glove compartment.

Each of the Travel Packs illustrated are formulated for either an Adult or a Child. Remember adults and children take different amounts so the "strength" is different for each of the packs to match the person.

Travel Packs are available in the packages listed above.
